Healthy high energy foods are on the top of everyone's list today. More and more people are getting wise to the detrimental effects of eating junk food and foods that have high refined sugar content. While a sugar or caffeine rush might make you feel like a million bucks for a while, the effects of the rush soon wear off. What makes it worse is that these kinds of rushes have a grave negative impact on your health.

If you need your dessert fix, try eating yogurt. As one of the high energy foods, it helps convert nutrients into energy; and it contains calcium, protein and vitamin B 12 which are very good for the body. There are also live microorganisms in it that help strengthen your body's natural defenses. A lot of people like eating yogurt because it not only has a lot of benefits, it also tastes pretty good.

Oatmeal is a great source of fiber. It's also low in fat and low in calories. Studies show oatmeal has great cardiovascular benefits. It's ability to lower your bad cholesterol and increase your good cholesterol decreases many risks of heart disease. Try to eat organic oatmeal with low sugar for best results. Use nonfat milk versus low-fat to add calcium and don't be afraid to add mixed berries or banana's for added taste.

Nowadays, Dementia is spreading rapidly in all over the world. It badly affects the brain as well as it affects the areas such as language, memory, attention or in some cases, lack of problem solving capabilities. After some time, patients will face more symptoms of dementia like he or she would not be able to recognize the time, week, month or even, year.

With this well balanced consumption one is at a lower risk of suffering from diseases like cancer and other chronic ailments. If one is looking to maintain their body free of conditions like flu, colds and measles.

Salads, with lots of hearty greens. My newest (old) favorite is Mache. It's that dark green salad stuff that has lots of small leaves. Sometimes it's sold in little bushels, and sometimes, the leaves have been separated. The second variety yields quite a lot of salad. And it's very tasty.

There is no excuse for not eating in the morning. Don't be lazy. Get yourself organised and get some decent food into you every day and you will feel great. You will feel alert as your brain kicks into gear. You will feel resilient and strong and ready to (gasp) exercise as well as work and play.
