For instance coffee is considered to be a very potent source of antioxidants. In fact the majority of Americans rely on coffee for their daily intake of antioxidants. In case you don't know what antioxidants are, these are chemicals which are known to be good anti-cancer compounds. Coffee is also known to offer protection against certain types of cancers such as liver cancer.

Caffeine, of course, is the main ingredient in your cup of java. Researchers have proven that a safe amount would be one or two cups a day. When more than two cups are exceeded your body may suffer the negative effects. This may include insomnia, migraines, increased or irregular heartbeat, nausea and muscle tension. Your doctor may advise you to drink less caffeine as continued extreme use may lead to ulcer or heartburn.

Coffee beans are grown all over the world. Different tastes do come from different areas. It is fun to try all different kinds of coffee and vary which ones you drink each morning, especially since all kinds are out in the stores for purchase. While coffee is known as a morning drink, a lot of people drink it all day. A cup in the afternoon, especially flavored, or a special type, can bring us energy and enjoyment.

The thing is, there was no dose response association (if you drank more you got better protection), generally considered a stronger indication of cause-and-effect. The difficulty could come from the problems involved in accurately measuring how much coffee or tea the study subjects actually drank.

Research indicates that regular drinking of this caffeine-loaded drink will help relieve symptoms of asthma and headaches. It is also known to boost mood. And while it may be accessory to developing acute bad breath, it has been, however, suggested that it can prevent the onset of cavities.

Current research shows that drinking a few cups of coffee every day is safe and may even be beneficial to health. You see, coffee can actually help in the prevention and treatment of many disease including Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, liver disease, Parkinsons's disease and skin cancer.
